Goa Garba
This temple and cave are rarely visited by travelers since they are not often mentioned in publications. They are located in the same area as the Temple called Pengukur-ukuran, situated in Sawanggunung Pejeng Kelod village, Tampaksiring, to the east of Ubud.
Believed to have been built in 1116 during the Bedahulu Kingdom, it was associated with Kebo Iwa, also known as Kebo Taruna, a descendant of Arya Karang Buncing. Goa Garba is where Kebo Iwa practiced his war skills, undergoing a series of challenges before obtaining his physical and spiritual powers.

The year 1116 Caka, inscribed at the temple, indicates that it was renovated and expanded during that time and officiated by Pedanda Siwa, bearing the title of Mapanji. Upon entering the temple grounds, visitors will find ample parking. To visit the cave, one must ascend the steps made of natural stone. ***
